Job Description

Systems Administration & Lifecycle Management: Servers, storage, cloud, and security tools
Performance & Capacity Monitoring: Utilization analysis, availability monitoring, and system tuning
Security & Compliance Enforcement: Patching, system hardening, and implementing access controls
Backup & Disaster Recovery (DR) Support: Backup validation, DR readiness, and incident resolution
Request & Ticket Management: Ensuring SLA adherence and managing ticket backlogs
Vendor Coordination: Liaising with system vendors for support and service-level compliance

The Successful Applicant

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in system administration/engineering
Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified, VMware Certified Professional, or equivalent
Experience managing mission‑critical systems, particularly within a 24/7 operational environment in the financial services industry
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Linux, AIX, hypervisors, and other related IT infrastructure
Familiar with various security tools (e.g., patching tools, vulnerability assessment tools)
