Job Description
- Manage and oversee the operations of the fleet to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
- Analyze and implement cost-saving strategies for fleet operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Track and report on fleet performance metrics and operational data.
- Plan and execute logistics operations to meet customer needs effectively.
- Lead and manage a team of logistics and maintenance personnel.
A Successful Fleet Manager Should Have
- Educational background in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing fleet operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, maintenance, and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
