The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for managing and accelerating the companys online revenue across all digital sales channels, including Shopify websites, major marketplaces such as Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, and TikTok Shop, as well as paid digital marketing platforms. This role oversees overall ecommerce performance, focusing on sales growth, campaign execution, and marketplace expansion.
The position collaborates closely with Brand Managers and the Creative Team to ensure campaigns and digital initiatives effectively drive customer acquisition and revenue. In addition, the Ecommerce Manager leads a small ecommerce team and is accountable for meeting online sales targets while improving key performance metrics such as ROAS and conversion rates in the Philippine market.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Sales Performance
Lead and manage total online sales performance across all ecommerce platforms.
Develop and execute strategies aimed at increasing revenue through Shopify websites and marketplace channels.
Monitor sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and implement improvements to ensure targets are achieved.
Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, increase average order value (AOV), and enhance conversion rates.
Marketplace Operations & Growth
Manage and optimize marketplace presence on Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, and TikTok Shop.
Implement strategies to strengthen product visibility and marketplace performance.
Coordinate participation in major platform campaigns such as 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, and 12.12 sales events.
Optimize product listings, promotional bundles, pricing strategies, and campaign mechanics.
Monitor competitor pricing and analyze marketplace trends to maintain competitiveness.
Performance Marketing Oversight
Provide strategic direction for digital advertising efforts across Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads platforms.
Oversee the work of the Performance Marketing Specialist responsible for campaign execution.
Track campaign effectiveness through metrics such as ROAS and CAC.
Ensure marketing budgets are efficiently distributed across digital channels to maximize returns.
Shopify Website Management
Ensure Shopify websites are optimized for both user experience and sales conversion.
Enhance product pages by improving product descriptions, visuals, and multimedia content.
Monitor traffic sources, user behavior, and website analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
Campaign & Promotion Strategy
Create and manage the ecommerce promotional calendar aligned with brand initiatives and marketplace campaigns.
Develop promotional tactics such as flash sales, bundles, and limited-time offers.
Coordinate with Brand Managers to prioritize key product launches and hero items during campaigns.
Data Insights & Reporting
Analyze ecommerce data and sales performance to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Monitor key metrics including GMV, conversion rate, ROAS, CAC, and AOV.
Prepare and present regular performance reports along with recommended action plans to management.
Team Management & Collaboration
Lead the ecommerce team, including the Performance Marketing Specialist and Ecommerce Operations Executive.
Work closely with the Creative Team to ensure content assets support advertising campaigns, product pages, and social media initiatives.
Coordinate with Brand Managers to align marketing campaigns with product launches and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Ecommerce, or a related field.
At least 5–8 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or online retail environments.
Minimum 2–3 years of leadership or managerial experience overseeing ecommerce operations or teams.
Required Experience
Proven experience managing ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or similar website platforms.
Hands-on experience with major marketplaces including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Strong understanding of performance marketing platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
Experience planning and executing digital campaigns, promotional activities, and online sales events.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret sales and marketing data to guide business decisions.
