Building Maintenance Technician

Job Description

A Building Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs a facility's structure, grounds, and equipment, including tasks like carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and grounds upkeep. They identify and troubleshoot problems, perform preventative and emergency repairs, and ensure the property remains in good condition for occupants and owners.

Qualification

Must be NC II Electrical Installation and Maintenance Passer

Proven 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or a similar role.

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.

Understanding of workplace safety procedures and regulations.

Basic carpentry, painting, and repair skills.

Physical stamina and ability to work at heights if necessary.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Know how to use hand tools and equipment properly.
