Expression Of Interest - Senior Primary And Secondary Design Engineer

We are inviting expressions of interest for Senior Protection and Control Design Engineers and Senior Primary Design Engineers to join our Energy group. These roles will support the delivery of high-quality projects for internal, existing, and new clients, while building commercial awareness and contributing to coaching and technical development within the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the delivery of substation primary, protection, control and related design projects for internal and external clients.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to prepare technical documentation and deliver best-for-project outcomes.
• Contribute technical expertise, guidance and support across project delivery, proposals and team development.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• For Senior Protection and Control Design Engineers: experience in protection and control design, relay configuration settings, protection studies, secondary systems and tools such as ETAP, PSSE, AcSELerator QuickSet, Siemens DIGSI or similar.
• For Senior Primary Design Engineers: experience in substation primary design, equipment layout, design calculations, technical drawings and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or similar.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, applicable standards, technical practices and design development.
• Strong technical writing, data analysis, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Australian project experience and relevant on-site credentials are an advantage.
