The opportunity (Pioneer Finance Shared Services Team)

This is a pioneer role within Hubexo’s newly established Finance Shared Services Centre. You’ll play a key part in building a high-performing finance operation — contributing not just to day-to-day delivery, but also to how we work, collaborate, and continuously improve.

You’ll work closely with regional and global stakeholders, gain exposure to international finance operations, and grow as the SSC expands.

About the role

As Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will run day-to-day AR operations for assigned regions, ensuring service level delivery and effective issue resolution. You’ll lead a team to drive accuracy, efficiency, strong controls, and continuous improvement, while partnering closely with stakeholders to support healthy cash flow and customer outcomes.

What you’ll be responsible for

Service delivery

• Lead day-to-day AR operations for assigned regions, ensuring accuracy and SLA delivery
• Plan workloads, coach the team, and maintain strong delivery through peak cycles
• Monitor aging, backlogs, and operational risks and take corrective action

Quality, controls and compliance

• Act as the primary escalation point for AR issues and drive resolution
• Ensure compliance with AR policies, controls, and SOPs
• Support AR close activities, reconciliations, and reporting integrity

Improvement and collaboration

• Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer across the team
• Identify recurring issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Sales and internal stakeholders to resolve customer account issues

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years’ AR experience with leadership exposure (SSC/global preferred)
• Strong understanding of collections, cash application, reconciliations, and close activities
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and prioritisation skills
• NetSuite experience preferred; process improvement experience valued
