About the Role

Were looking for an enthusiastic and people-oriented Paying Users Engagement & Relations Intern to support our Paying Users Team in strengthening relationships with some of Kumus most valued community members.

Think of this role as a mix of relationship management, sales coordination, and community engagement. Youll help keep our paying users informed, engaged, and excited about whats happening on the platform.

Youll also get hands-on experience supporting promotional campaigns, coordinating user activities, and learning how a social entertainment platform builds and maintains relationships with its community.

What Youll Be Doing

1. User Relationship Management & Engagement

• Assist in maintaining positive relationships with Kumus existing high-value paying users.
• Communicate with users through messaging platforms, social media, and other approved communication channels.
• Help coordinate personalized outreach, user check-ins, and engagement activities.
• Keep users informed about upcoming promotions, platform events, campaigns, and exclusive opportunities.
• Gather user feedback, concerns, and suggestions, and coordinate with the team to ensure appropriate follow-through.
• Support initiatives that encourage continued participation, loyalty, and engagement within the Kumu community.

2. Campaign & Promotional Coordination

• Assist in the execution of campaigns and promotional activities designed for paying users.
• Coordinate promotional announcements, user invitations, and campaign reminders.
• Help prepare simple campaign materials, social media posts, messaging content, and promotional communications.
• Monitor user participation in ongoing campaigns and coordinate follow-ups when needed.
• Work with internal teams to ensure campaign details, schedules, and user communications are aligned.

3. Sales & Engagement Support

• Support the team in identifying opportunities to encourage greater user participation and spending through relevant platform activities.
• Assist with outreach for exclusive promotions, events, and user engagement programs.
• Help track user responses, participation, and follow-up opportunities.
• Coordinate with team members on initiatives aimed at retaining and reactivating paying users.
• Contribute ideas for improving user experiences and engagement strategies.

4. Coordination, Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain organized records of user communications, campaign participation, and engagement activities.
• Update user trackers, campaign monitoring sheets, and internal reports.
• Assist in preparing simple weekly summaries of outreach activities, user feedback, and campaign results.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve user concerns and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Support other administrative and coordination tasks related to the Paying Users Team.

Who Were Looking For

Were open to students seeking internship opportunities, fresh graduates, and early-career applicants who are interested in community engagement, relationship management, sales, or digital marketing.

Ideally, you are someone who:

• Is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in conversational Filipino and English.
• Is comfortable initiating conversations and maintaining relationships with different types of people.
• Is familiar with social media platforms, messaging applications, and online communities.
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple follow-ups and coordination tasks.
• Has basic knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar productivity tools.
• Is creative, resourceful, and willing to contribute ideas for user engagement and promotional activities.
• Is comfortable learning new platforms and digital tools.

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience organizing school events, managing online communities, or coordinating social media campaigns.
• Have participated in livestreaming communities or are familiar with platforms like Kumu, TikTok Live, or similar apps.
• Enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds and age groups.
• Have a natural ability to make conversations engaging and build rapport with others.

No previous corporate experience required!
