Our Credit Cards Business is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Merchant Sales Officer.

In this role, you will identify and secure new merchant partners while strengthening relationships with existing ones. You'll help drive business growth through merchant promotions, installment offers, and card usage programs.

What the role will entail

• Drive new merchant accreditation by prospecting, negotiating, and establishing strategic partnerships with merchants, while managing accreditation requirements to expand the Bank's merchant network and generate merchant installment billings.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with merchant partners to drive merchant installment and retail billings.
• Develop and execute merchant-driven programs, including installment offers, promotions, perks, and sale events.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of merchant acquisition and marketing initiatives.
• Analyze merchant performance, market trends, and business opportunities to support growth strategies.
• Achieve acquisition and billing targets while ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies and industry regulations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or any related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition, account management, or a related role.
• Experience in building and managing partnerships with merchants and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of sales, merchant acquiring, marketing programs, and business development strategies.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, negotiate partnerships, and achieve business targets.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
