Position Overview

The Social Media Specialist is a high-velocity, trend-aware creative executor responsible for building brand presence, driving organic audience engagement, and executing search-engine-optimized content frameworks. Operating at an individual contributor execution level, this role bridges short-form video storytelling with localized SEO article writing to guide financially distressed consumer segments toward credit wellness. The ideal candidate possesses a strong narrative mindset, video editing capabilities, high execution discipline, and a deep understanding of Southeast Asian digital culture

1. Social Media Management & Viral Content Creation 

• Manage and publish daily short-form and long-form assets across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and Reddit.
• Produce trend-based, story-driven, and educational content, using video and motion graphic tools to execute basic video transitions, visual optimization, and audio synchronization.
• Maintain disciplined content calendars, ensuring a 95% publishing consistency rate on schedule each month.
• Handle daily community interactions with empathy and creative de-escalation, maintaining a 90% response rate within 24 hours to drive a 10–15% month-over-month engagement growth.

2. Localized SEO Content Writing & Topical Authority

• Research and author SEO-optimized articles, pillar pages, landing pages, and FAQs focusing on debt consolidation and personal finance topics tailored for Filipino readers.
• Conduct keyword research (primary, secondary, long-tail) and map keywords to search intent across topic clusters.
• Craft localized, jargon-free copy integrating local terminology (e.g., utang, sweldo, online lending apps) and peso figures to strip away subprime debt stigma.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices—optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, heading structures (H1–H3), URL slugs, image alt text, and internal links.
• Conduct content refreshes to update existing articles, maintain rank positioning, and protect domain authority.

3. Audience Engagement & Brand Perception

• Deliver solution-oriented, empathetic communication across comment sections and direct messages to convert audience trust into user acquisition.
• Generate active community interaction initiatives and gather audience-driven insights to refine front-end messaging hooks.

4. Performance Diagnostics & Trend Analysis

• Monitor channel analytics to continuously evaluate engagement rates, video completion loops, click-throughs, and SEO traffic outcomes.
• Submit active trend and content opportunity recommendations to course-correct underperforming social and editorial assets.

5. Cross-Functional Alignment & Growth Scaling

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and growth marketing teams to ensure front-end creative narratives match current product capabilities.
• Support marketing experimentation pilots, iterating creative assets rapidly to optimize organic acquisition channels.

• Bachelors degree from a reputable university in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related commercial discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in social media management, SEO content writing, or digital marketing in fast-paced startup or B2C environments.  
• Verified track record of managing multi-channel social media platforms and producing short-form video content.
• Preferred experience appearing on-camera or directing video production.
• Full professional fluency in both written and spoken English to draft structured operational documentation and communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
