Job Description

The role of a Training Specialist is critical in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within an organization. As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing the training needs of employees, developing curriculum and materials, and delivering impactful training sessions that enhance the skills and knowledge of the workforce. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that training programs align with organizational goals and objectives. Responsibilities

  • Assess individual and organizational development needs to enhance skill sets.
  • Design, plan, and implement effective training programs for all levels of staff.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, guides, and multimedia presentations.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure training aligns with business goals.
  • Identify and mitigate any challenges or barriers impacting learning outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in training methodologies.
  • Manage and update the Learning Management System (LMS) with curriculum resources.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees post-training sessions.
  • Prepare and distribute post-training evaluation reports and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with external training providers when necessary for specialized programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist or in a relevant HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills for varied audiences.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management System (LMS) administration and reporting.
  • Ability to assess and analyze training needs effectively and efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate learning.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Certification in training or instructional design is a plus.
