Job Description

The Sr Project Manager 19N40 is a pivotal role within our organization, tasked with overseeing complex projects from inception to completion. This position plays a crucial role in accomplishing strategic objectives by ensuring that milestones are met on time and within budget, and that deliverables align with client expectations. The Sr Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, providing leadership, coordination, and strategic direction. This individual should possess excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets, for successful execution.
  • Lead and motivate cross-disciplinary project teams to achieve project goals efficiently.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of project deliverables and expectations.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget constraints.
  • Evaluate project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques for improvements.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs while minimizing disruption.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful components and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with resource managers to secure necessary project support from the team.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, practices, and standards for consistency.
  • Implement project management best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party contractors to ensure successful project partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a relevant business or IT field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities within fast-paced environments.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Adept at using project management software tools such as MS Project, Asana, or similar.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
