Job Description

A Professional Medical Representative plays a crucial role in the pharmaceutical industry by acting as a bridge between the pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. This position involves promoting and selling medications to healthcare providers such as doctors, hospitals, and clinics. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for assigned territory.
  • Visit healthcare providers to promote and educate on pharmaceutical products and therapies.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to physicians and medical staff regularly.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare industry.
  • Act as a liaison between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations.
  • Analyze market trends and gather competitive intelligence to optimize strategic planning.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities and performance metrics.
  • Organize and participate in medical conferences and workshops to promote products.
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Keep current with scientific and research developments to provide up-to-date product information.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies during sales activities.
  • Support cross-functional teams in developing marketing strategies based on field feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field is required.
  • Proven track record of successful medical sales and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to interpret complex medical data and communicate it effectively to clients.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend industry events.
