Job Description

The HR and Admin Supervisor is a pivotal role within any organization, acting as a bridge between employees and management while ensuring administrative operations run smoothly. This position demands a dynamic individual equipped with expert knowledge in human resources practices and an ability to manage day-to-day office operations effectively. The HR and Admin Supervisor will oversee the administration of policies, programs, and services, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. Adept at influencing company culture and optimizing team performance, this supervisor ensures employees remain engaged and productive. Tasked with streamlining HR processes and supporting administrative functions, this role is essential for maintaining a harmonious and efficient work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligning with business objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment processes to attract, select, and onboard top talent effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies across all departments.
  • Coordinate performance management and performance appraisal efforts organization-wide.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing grievances and disciplinary issues promptly.
  • Administer payroll functions and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Oversee the implementation of employee training programs and development workshops.
  • Facilitate internal communications to ensure employees are informed and motivated.
  • Maintain accurate employee records both digitally and on paper.
  • Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior HR staff, ensuring high performance and work ethic.
  • Collaborate with the finance department for budget planning and management efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR supervision or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations applicable to the organization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite applications required.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills ensuring efficient office management.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
