The role of an E-commerce Account Manager is pivotal in shaping and managing the online presence and sales initiatives across various digital marketplaces. As an E-commerce Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for existing key accounts and responsible for developing strong, long-lasting relationships. This position involves driving sales performance, strategizing marketing initiatives, and ensuring products are accurately represented across platforms. You will leverage your expertise in digital marketing, data analytics, and customer relationship management to optimize product listings, enhance brand visibility, and boost revenue growth. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of e-commerce trends and technologies, along with the aptitude to quickly adapt to emerging market changes.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through constant communication and trust-building.
  • Create and implement strategic plans to increase online product visibility and sales.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to align on promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of various e-commerce channels and initiatives.
  • Address and resolve client queries and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research and remain up-to-date with e-commerce developments and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure product listings are accurate, optimized, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Manage budgets effectively to maximize ROI on various e-commerce campaigns.
  • Seek out and explore new business opportunities and avenues for revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an e-commerce account management role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple online accounts and meet performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or similar is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in developing online strategies to enhance brand presence.
  • Experience using digital marketing tools and platforms for online promotions.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
