Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and manage construction projects for public and private infrastructure.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and data to plan projects accurately.
• Conduct feasibility studies to gauge cost-effectiveness and assess project sustainability.
• Manage project resources, including workforce, materials, and finances effectively.
• Inspect project sites regularly to monitor progress and adherence to plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality controls.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders during project execution.
• Develop detailed project reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

• Apply engineering and technical principles to solve infrastructure-related problems.
• Supervise and guide junior engineers and construction teams as necessary.
• Innovate sustainable construction practices to reduce environmental impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one is preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proven track record of successfully completed infrastructure projects.
• Ability to travel to various project sites as required to oversee work.
