Cost Analyst

Cost Analyst

Analyzes and reviews financial statements to calculate manufacturing costs. Identifies areas that are increasing manufacturing costs more than planned. Summarizes cost analysis findings into a presentation for monthly reporting.

About The Job

• Analyzes financials and manufacturing data to calculate manufacturing costs of products
• Records cost information and reviews audit reports pertaining to cost
• Prepares reports comparing projected manufacturing costs vs actual manufacturing costs; recommends changes, where appropriate
• Evaluates internal procedures and analytical statements to recommend changes to improve administration and analysis of data in a Littelfuse location
  
  
  
  

• Bachelor or university degree. Preferred in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred
• 2+ years of work experience in standard cost and account booking
• Knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing cost analysis
• Experience with global semiconductor or electronics manufacturing companies preferred
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office and SAP
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
