Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented AU Xero Bookkeeper professional to support an Australian business across multiple entities. This role focuses on end-to-end bookkeeping, financial record management, and back-office support using Xero. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in Australian bookkeeping standards, confident in managing financial data, and capable of supporting finance and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping using Xero across multiple entities
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain invoices and financial documentation
  • Provide general administrative and back-office support
  • Assist finance and operations teams with reporting and coordination tasks
  • Support payroll-related tasks in collaboration with the payroll team

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Mandatory Australian bookkeeping experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of Xero experience and Xero certification required
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
  • Well-organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Nice to Have

  • CPA qualification is an advantage but not required
  • Experience working with multi-entity business structures
  • Exposure to healthcare or retail industry environments
