Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Solar Administration Officer to support a fast-paced Australian solar retail operation. This role provides essential administrative support across sales, operations, and customer service, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance processing, and timely system updates. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident coordinating with customers, installers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to sales and operations teams in a high-volume solar retail environment
  • Process compliance documentation and ensure accuracy of job paperwork
  • Manage CRM and job management systems with timely updates and precise data entry
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers, installers, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with technicians and contractors regarding job schedules and documentation
  • Support post-sale processes including customer follow-ups and enquiry resolution
  • Maintain organized digital records and document management systems
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in line with Australian industry standards and timelines
  • Manage multiple active jobs simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail

RequirementsQualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in solar, electrical, construction, plumbing, HVAC, or similar trade industries
  • Solar industry experience highly preferred
  • Experience supporting contractor-based or trade businesses is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Confident handling inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Proven experience processing compliance documents and job-related paperwork
  • Skilled in CRM and job management systems
  • Ability to work Australian business hours
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and document management skills
