We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to support an established Australian accounting and bookkeeping practice. This role requires someone confident in handling multiple clients, systems, and deadlines, with a solid understanding of Australian bookkeeping standards and workflows. You will work as part of a dedicated offshore team aligned with Australian business hours, supporting a fast-paced and growing client base.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Process payroll and superannuation
  • Prepare and support BAS / IAS (for review and lodgement)
  • Complete end-of-month (EOM) processes
  • Handle data entry and transaction processing
  • Review and clean up client files as needed
  • Monitor shared inboxes and manage workflow tasks
  • Collaborate closely with the onshore team to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience using Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks
  • Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously (accounting or bookkeeping firm preferred)
  • Mandatory experience working with Australian clients and accounting standards
  • Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping processes, including BAS / IAS support
  • Ability to work across multiple systems, clients, and deadlines with high accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong time management and multitasking ability
  • Confident working independently
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Process-driven with the ability to follow structured workflows
