About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems & Reporting Analyst to support the continued growth and operational maturity of the business.

This role operates at the intersection of business operations and technical system implementation. You will ensure that process changes are clearly defined, assessed for impact, and supported by reliable reporting and structured data controls.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening process clarity and improving reporting integrity. You will be responsible for auditing manual processes (specifically in Google Sheets), reviewing Zoho list views for data integrity, and consulting on system logic.

This is a hands-on role suited to a senior analyst who can perform detailed data “detective work” while architecting automated long-term solutions.

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across Sales, Operations, and Finance.
  • Conduct rigorous impact assessments across workflows and integrations. You must identify the “ripple effect” of system changes (e.g., how field updates impact API syncs, reporting logic, and commission calculations).
  • Develop structured requirements documentation, including business rules, logic maps, and functional specifications for Developer execution.
  • Maintain traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions. Reporting & Data Integrity
    • Design, build, and maintain dashboards within Zoho Analytics and operational models in Excel/Google Sheets.
    • Own manual auditing and validation of operational data and commission calculation sheets.
    • Cross-check Zoho CRM data against finance records to ensure reporting accuracy.
    • Identify recurring data discrepancies and root causes.
    • Recommend structural system improvements to reduce manual reconciliation effort. Process Documentation & System Consultation
      • Map and document current “as-is” and future-state workflows to create a single source of truth for Developers and Management.
      • Review document maps and system schemas; consult on API field mapping and data flows between Zoho and third-party tools (implementation handled by Developer).
      • Support spreadsheet automation initiatives using advanced Excel and VBA/Macros.
      • Identify manual workarounds and propose scalable solutions within the Zoho ecosystem.
      • Reduced manual reconciliation time through improved system design.
      • Improved reporting accuracy and data integrity across CRM and Finance.
      • Clearly documented processes with full traceability from requirement to implementation.
      • Fewer recurring data discrepancies and stronger system governance.
      • 4–8+ years’ experience in Business Systems, Operations Analysis, or Business Analysis.
      • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets mastery (complex formulas, array functions, structured data modelling, and manual data reconciliation).
      • Proven process mapping expertise (e.g., Lucidchart or similar tools).
      • Strong documentation skills — ability to produce clear functional specifications and business rules documentation.
      • Direct experience with Zoho CRM (Workflows, Blueprints, List Views) and Zoho Analytics.
      • Strong understanding of API data flows and integration logic (consultative level).
      • High attention to detail with the ability to balance tactical problem-solving and strategic system design.
      • Ability to work standard business hours aligned with the Sydney, NSW timezone.
