UCT is looking for a talented Tariffs Claims Manager to join us in Philippines!

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tariffs Claims Manager to lead the preparation and submission of accurate, complete, and timely customer-specific tariff claims packages. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end claims process and maintaining clear communication with internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tariffs, import/export documentation, and claims procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit comprehensive tariff claims packages tailored to individual customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Logistics, Customs Compliance, Finance, Sales) to gather and validate the data required for each claim.
• Ensure all claims are compliant with customer requirements.
• Track, monitor, and report on the status of claims and resolve discrepancies or follow-up requirements promptly.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for account executives regarding tariff-related claims, addressing inquiries and providing regular updates.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all claims in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance claims accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time.
• Stay current with changes in global tariff regulations and trade compliance requirements.
• Support internal audits and external reviews by providing required documentation and explanations related to claims.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in customer claims (or related domains) in contract manufacturing (or related industries).
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with customers and internal teams professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
