Senior Engineer Back End Operations ATO Governance And Data

Job Description

The Senior Engineer role supports the continuity, stability, and day‑to‑day operational execution of Back End Operations and ATO (CAB) governance. This position works closely with site and functional stakeholders to support governance activities, contribute to process improvements, and assist with the adoption of BE CAB and ATO practices within and across Back End sites.

The role contributes to improvement initiatives and programs by supporting analysis, executing assigned actions, and participating in cross‑site discussions. While the role does not carry end‑to‑end ownership of programs or processes, the Senior Engineer plays a key role in execution, data support, and operational follow‑through.

A core responsibility of the role includes hands‑on database development and data management, supporting the build, maintenance, and enhancement of ATO and governance databases. Through accurate reporting, data analysis, and operational support, the Senior Engineer contributes to effective governance execution and continuous improvement across Back End operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day execution and operational support for Back End (BE) Operations and ATO (CAB) governance activities
• Support improvement initiatives and program‑related activities across BE organizations by executing assigned actions and ensuring timely follow‑through
• Assist in coordinating governance‑related tasks, discussions, and data requirements across site and functional stakeholders
• Support BE CAB processes by maintaining documentation, tracking actions, and ensuring operational consistency
• Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities within assigned scope and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Develop, maintain, and enhance ATO and governance databases to support reporting, analytics, and data accuracy
• Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to support operational reviews and governance visibility
• Provide hands‑on data analysis and operational insights to support informed decision‑making
• Collaborate closely with Staff and other senior roles to support cross‑site initiatives and operational sustainment
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting BE CAB, ATO, CAB/PRB, or similar governance, change management, or operational processes
• Willingness and ability to support and manage multiple operational tasks, improvement actions, and program‑related activities
• Strong hands‑on experience in database development, data management, reporting, or analytics
• Demonstrated ability to execute assigned work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills with experience working with site and functional stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting regulated, audit‑driven, or governance‑focused environments
• Experience with reporting, database, and automation tools such as:
• Tableau Desktop / Tableau Prep
• Power BI or QlikView
• Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
• Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio
• Experience supporting operational or process improvement initiatives
• Exposure to cross‑site or multi‑organization collaboration within BE Operations
