Role Summary:

The R2R Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the Record-to-Report (R2R) function through the preparation, analysis, and delivery of financial reports. The role focuses on financial reporting, reporting process improvement, data analysis, and supporting business stakeholders with accurate and timely financial information. This position is part of a newly established Reporting Team and offers opportunities to contribute to process transformation and reporting excellence.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience working with ERP and general ledger systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, or E-Automate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work within reporting deadlines.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SmartView, or Blackline is advantageous.
  • Awareness of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial and management reports.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Interpret financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reporting requirements.
  • Support reporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and business reporting requests.
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer and reporting standardization efforts within the newly established team.

  • Enable informed business decision-making through reliable financial data.
  • Contribute to transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Strong accounting background.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Financial reporting experience.
  • Experience working in multinational or shared services environments.

Preferred:

  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools.
  • Exposure to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Nice to Haves:

  • Shared Services or Global Business Services experience.
  • Business Reviews and ad hoc financial analysis support.
  • Reporting automation experience.
  • Exposure to virtual or global teams.
  • Familiarity with reporting modernization initiatives.
