UCT is looking for a talented GSC PIR Data Manager to join us in Cebu!

Job Summary:

Own and govern supply chain master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness across systems. The Data Manager leads the execution team, defines controls and standards, oversees data quality metrics, and ensures purchasing and planning data (e.g., PIRs) supports on-time procurement, cost integrity, and business continuity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end governance of purchasing master data (PIRs and related objects).
  • Define data standards, validation rules, and approval frameworks (maker–checker).
  • Lead and prioritize the data execution team to meet SLAs and quality targets.
  • Review escalations related to pricing, contracts, lead time, MOQ, and UOM issues.
  • Ensure data aligns with approved quotes, contracts, and sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor and publish data quality KPIs (accuracy, cycle time, rework, aging).
  • Drive cleanup initiatives and corrective actions for systemic data defects.
  • Partner with Procurement, Category Management, SCM, Finance, and IT.
  • Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation, logs, and traceability.

Other Duties

  • Support internal and external audits as data owner.
  • Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives (templates, workflows, validations).
  • Support system enhancements and future-state tools (MDG, automation, analytics).
  • Coach and develop analysts; ensure cross-training and coverage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP MM master data (PIRs, pricing, sourcing).
  • Solid understanding of procurement, contracts, and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to translate business rules into data standards and controls.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using Excel and dashboards.
  • Clear communicator; comfortable leading cross-functional discussions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and decisive in risk escalation.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Nice to have: SAP MM / MDM training, PMP, or data governance certifications.

Experience Requirement:

  • 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or master data roles.
  • Prior experience leading data, MDM, or operational governance teams preferred.
  • Hands-on SAP experience required; ownership of data quality strongly preferred.
