Job Description

  • Manage subcontractor or contract manufacturer for Module and Discrete line assembly ensuring completion of lots per promised dates to support revenue goal for each quarter.
  • Generates Work Order in accordance with build plan and based upon priorities/or as schedule given by MPL Planner using ERP tool.
  • Ensures all critical notations/special instructions to build specific product are clearly stated on the Work Order Traveler and release them to assigned subcon.
  • Review material support using MRP Planning Tool before creating work order to prevent line stoppage and ensure continuous assembly and ensure the timely transfer of materials needed at the subcons.
  • Review on a regular basis WIP movement at subcons to ensure lot completion per commit dates and help in addressing issues that may cause delay in the assembly of the products.
  • Clearly communicates any special build requirements to subcon/s and ensures correct execution.
  • Collaborates with Subcons Planning team/Mphl3 internal assembly and MCHP Subcon Ops/Internal Engg team to resolve issues/concerns to prevent delay in issuance of materials to Production Area and prevent delay in the assembly of parts (for FAE/NPI and regular production lots).
  • Generates Work Order for FAE/NPI lots (First Article Inspection/New Product Introduction) in accordance with build plan and based upon priorities/or as schedule given by MPL Planner using ERP tool.
  • Monitor FAE lots completion and ensure to provide advice to Logistics/Warehouse once lots are completely approved via the NCRB.
  • Provides relevant information to the Business Unit (BU) and MPL’s for any issues/problems that may delay completion of products.
  • Closely monitor WIP movement at subcons to ensure timely delivery/per commitment completion dates.
  • Die Sales (BDS) WIP releases and close monitoring per expected delivery dates and work closely with Mphl3 Internal Assembly Planner for timely completion of lots.
  • Inform immediate Supervisor of any issues that may cause delay in endorsement of Work order traveler to Diebank/Stores/Assembly line or for any help need.
  • Support monthly and quarterly targets (KPI) set by the Department Head and Business Unit (BU).
  • Ensure that the quality of the work and output is always maintained.
  • Always follow defined procedures and processes.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements/Qualifications

Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering with 2-3yrs experience as production control, preferably from semiconductor company or with equivalent related experience from the same industry.

Other Engineering course with production planning and control experience are welcome to apply

Other Qualifications

Preferably with working experience in Semiconductor industry

Must be a residence in Laguna or willing to relocate in Laguna

Knowledge in semiconductor/electronics industry

Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and in writing

Honest, trustworthy, driven, results-oriented and fast learner

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
