Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Patrol Driver Gated Community in Laguna Niguel, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, document activity, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift 

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate daily activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, visitors, and law enforcement while supporting a welcoming residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
