As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help create a welcoming, controlled environment at a residential community by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting residents and visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry gates, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents and management, prepare accurate activity reports, and support a welcoming residential community environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
