Job Summary

The Sustaining Engineering Manager for Power Supply products plays a critical role in ensuring the long-term reliability, efficiency, and performance of these essential components. This position oversees product lifecycle support through deep product knowledge, effective cross‑functional collaboration, robust data and documentation management, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. By leading sustaining efforts, the manager helps maintain product quality, extend product longevity, and support overall customer satisfaction across various applications. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in product design, components, functionality, and limitations for effective troubleshooting.
• Take full technical ownership of the product after development, ensuring a smooth transition into sustainment.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to refine scope, engagement models, and process alignment.
• Drive adoption of initiatives that enhance product performance, reliability, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Track failure metrics, analyze reliability data, and lead root‑cause investigations to address recurring issues.
• Collect and incorporate feedback from field engineering, design engineering, and operations teams.
• Lead iterative improvements in product design, firmware, and processes based on data and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduate preferably Electronics Engineering or any related course.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in a production or production support environment, with strong applied knowledge of engineering principles and processes related to power supply products.
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a manager or team lead, with the ability to supervise teams, delegate tasks effectively, and drive operational performance.
• Strong project management background, including planning, executing, and overseeing complex projects to ensure delivery within established timelines and budgets.
• Proven expertise in continuous improvement, with hands‑on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization and efficiency methodologies.
