Job Description

  • Lead the Equipment Engineering and Maintenance Team and take ownership of the assigned responsibilities.
  • Assure manufacturing capability and performance improvement in support of department, business, and manufacturing strategies.
  • Provide focus and direction to plant personnel to assure knowledge and support of plant manufacturing priorities and requirements.
  • Improve Manufacturing costs and performance
  • Maintain and assure the efficient operation of all plant assets and equipment.
  • Improve equipment performance (OEE, throughput, speed, MTBA, MTBF,..) and appearance.
  • Create and execute project plans, like improvements of Site Utilization and reduction of Handler downtimes.
  • Actively look for more ways of internal repairs (purchase single parts instead of modules/boards).
  • Manage and reduce department M&R costs.
  • Realize improvements with Lean Manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensures all maintenance works (repair and preventive maintenance) are performed at highest quality standards.
  • Ensures all maintenance specs are strictly followed and updated according to factory requirements.
  • Responsible to lead continuous improvement teams in the assigned work area with the authority to make decisions and implement corrective actions.
  • Development of SME (subject matter expertise) with both financial aspects and a sense of urgency.
  • Coach and mentor engineers and supervisors in the team.
  • Participate in the hiring and training of new engineers and technicians.
  • Meet all safety and environmental regulatory requirements. Create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Build effective relationships within the department, business, staff groups, and with key customers and suppliers where required.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Manager.



Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor degree and more than 15 years work experience in managing technical engineers.
