Job Summary

The Test Engineer is responsible for supporting all test-related activities involving power supplies to ensure the production of high-quality products. This role drives continuous improvement in test performance by promoting best practices, sharing lessons learned, and assisting in the development of test setups and program plans. In addition, the position supervises, monitors, and guides Technicians to ensure compliance with testing requirements, while providing timely updates and feedback to relevant stakeholders. This position will report to the Test Engineering Manager.


Key Responsibilities

Leading the team in driving continuous test performance improvement

  • Lead resolution of test setup issues for both customer and in-process concerns, ensuring smooth operations and quality output.
  • Act as the factory’s focal point for customer audits, complaints, and queries, coordinating investigations and formal action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality and reliability issues affecting in-process and customer performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
  • Support product transfers and capacity expansion by ensuring timely completion of test deliverables and setting up requirements.
  • Drive strategic initiatives aligned with factory KPIs, including ECO implementation, design issue resolution, and customer visit coordination.
  • Ensure test personnel are updated with current technologies and equipped with the skills needed for optimal job performance.


Supervision for Test Technicians

  • Review reports and recommend improvements to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide daily guidance and feedback to support task execution and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance and safety in technician activities and work environment.


Data Analysis, Reports and Review of Documents

  • Analyze test data and recommend process or control improvements.
  • Prepare and review quality reports (e.g., RCCA, NFF, QCO, MTTR/MTBF) and test documentation (WIS, Test Instructions).
  • Provide test results to support customer, failure, and capacity analysis.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Process or Equipment Test Engineering.
  • Strong background in both Digital and Analog Electronics.
  • Proven experience in preparing test-related reports and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Test Programming, with the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
  • With good communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and project‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
