The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.
OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Environment Officer (Fixed Term 1 year), who will:
Key tasks and resonsibilitities:

Educational Background:
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Forestry
Specialization/License:
• Duly registered and currently licensed Forester
Desired Qualifications
• Knowledge in Environment/Forestry officer or in similar role
• Background in the implementation of Biodiversity assessment monitoring system.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge in forestry related activities especially in Biodiversity
• Familiarity with forestry equipment and tools.
• With MS Office skills
Skills:
• With Geographical Information System (GIS) and Global Position System (GPS) Operation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail in conducting biodiversity assessment monitoring system process.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Abilities:
• Ability to follow detailed instruction and protocols.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within the team.
• Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with colleagues.
• Adaptability to change priorities and tasks in a field setting
