We’re looking for a Permitting Supervisor to join the permitting team in the Philippines, under the Business Development department. As a Permitting Supervisor, you will execute permitting activities for the company’s renewable energy projects in different areas of the Philippines, ensuring timely acquisition of national and local permits. You will be a key player by managing risks, maintaining government relationships, and ensuring project development milestones are met.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop day-to-day permitting activities, securing required permits and approvals
  • Monitor permit applications, schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely submission and approvals
  • Identify operational risks or delays in permitting and propose solutions
  • Maintain accurate permitting records, trackers, and dashboards for ongoing projects
  • Coordinate with project development teams, technical teams, and other departments to ensure permit-related deliverables align with project schedules
  • Liaise with government agencies (ERC, DoE, NGCP, DAR, LGUs) and environmental or cultural authorities (DENR, NCIP, HLURB) for permit submissions and follow-ups

Key Qualifications

Required Skills and Competencies

  • 3–6 years of permitting experience in energy (preferred), utilities, or infrastructure projects
  • Good knowledge of national and local permitting requirements (DOE, ERC, NGCP, DENR, NCIP, LGUs)
  • Strong organizational, tracking, and coordination skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with government agencies
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple permit applications simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel to project locations
