Where And How You Can Work

While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Istanbul so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

What You’d Be Doing In This Role

This isn’t about translating global work - it’s about making Canva famous in Turkey by building campaigns and social content that feel unmistakably local and unmistakably Canva. You’ll bring Turkish culture, humour, and community-driven storytelling into the heart of our marketing.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Creating and executing culturally resonant brand campaigns across TV, digital, social, and influencer platforms
• Leading our Turkey-first brand strategy and creative platform
• Owning and elevating Canva Turkey’s social media narrative and content
• Building meaningful influencer and celebrity partnerships that spark talkability
• Partnering with local agencies and cross-functional teams for seamless execution
• Driving brand fame, unaided awareness, social shareability, and cultural relevance
  
  

Youre probably a match if you:

• Have extensive experience in brand, creative, or integrated marketing, ideally in a high-growth or culturally driven brand
• Are deeply fluent in Turkish culture, humour, media habits and digital behaviour
• Speak both Turkish and English fluently
• Have built or led major brand campaigns that blended TV, social, influencers, and celebrity integration
• Know what great social-first creative looks like and how to brief, direct and assess content that performs
• Thrive on collaboration, leading agencies and cross-functional teams with clarity and creative excellence
• Use insights and performance signals to continuously optimise campaigns
• Bring an ownership mindset
  
  

About The Team

You’ll be joining Canva’s Turkey Country Team, a high-impact group leading local growth across brand, community, growth marketing, social and more. You’ll collaborate closely with our Global Brand, Creative, Media, and Social teams, and lead a tight ecosystem of local agencies. This is one of Canva’s highest-potential markets and you’ll play a key role in making it one of the most loved.
