The Talent Acquisition Manager leads and manages the Talent Acquisition team in delivering effective talent acquisition strategies that attract, engage, and retain qualified candidates aligned with the organization’s current and future workforce needs. This role develops innovative sourcing techniques, builds strong partnerships with management to understand talent requirements, and fosters a diverse and inclusive hiring environment that strengthens the company’s competitive advantage. The Talent Acquisition Manager oversees recruitment operations, while collaborating with executive leadership to design comprehensive talent strategies and employee programs that support recruitment, retention, and organizational culture.
Duties And Responsibilities
Manage the daily recruitment activities and performance of Talent Acquisition Specialists and Coordinators.
Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to establish a continual pipeline of qualified candidates.
Develop effective relationships within the organizations management team to understand departmental talent needs on an immediate and longer-term basis.
Foster and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and inclusion to strengthen the companys competitive advantage.
Plan and execute job fairs based on seasonal needs.
Manage the ATS processes to promote job openings and career opportunities.
Ability to engage confidently with the executive management team to help develop total talent acquisition strategies.
Research comparable companies across all industries to explore, present and develop new employee related programs to foster our recruitment, retention, and diversity initiatives.
Foster and maintain a dynamic and inspiring work culture.
It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, related field or equivalent work-related experience required
Five or more years of experience with full-cycle, high-volume recruiting required
2 or more years of leadership experience required
Human resources professional certification preferred but not required
Working understanding of talent acquisition and/or human resource principles, practices and procedures
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems required. Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (Workday) preferred
Proficiency with job boards and resume mining platforms required (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.)
Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and SharePoint, etc. required
Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a high-speed work environment
Proven ability to influence and lead recruitment efforts and strategy
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate at a high level
Strong relationship-building skills and a solutions-focused mindset
Proven customer service experience with both internal and external customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Working Conditions
The Talent Acquisition Manager will be in an office, hybrid, or remote environment.
Occasional travel (up to 15%) to Groundworks corporate office, branch locations or company events is required.
