Job Description
Must be registered Chemist
With at least two (2) years of experience in water and wastewater analysis
Preferably with experience in operating UV-Vis and AA Spectrophotometers
Must be organized, process and detail-oriented, and with excellent technical writing skills
Highly motivated, self-directed, and can work under pressure
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Analyst shall be able to perform required microbiological and physio-chemical test parameters of water samples.
- The Analyst shall be responsible in receiving and checking water samples.
- The Analyst shall be responsible in chemical preparations in the laboratory.
- The Analyst shall be responsible in proper chemical waste segregation and containment inside the laboratory.
- The Analyst shall be responsible in checking the works of the laboratory aide and sampler.
- The Analyst shall perform other duties as deemed appropriate and necessary by the immediate superior
