The Learning Specialist will support the Learning Resource Center in strengthening training delivery, assessments, course development, research, and project-related initiatives. This role helps ensure that new hires and existing VMAs receive structured learning support aligned with Xillium VMA standards, while also assisting with documentation, coordination, and continuous improvement of LRC programs.
Support the executive or manager with special projects, including but not limited to marketing and Learning Resource Center initiatives.
Manage, with supervision, some projects or major project components as assigned.
Develop and implement plans and timelines, including identifying tasks, deadlines, and milestones.
Help build a system that encourages follow-through and completion of deliverables.
Create and maintain project documentation, including pertinent design documents, process flows, and reports for the manager or executives.
Support research through fact-checking and verifying critical information, such as US regulations and standards.
Serve as an LRC course designer or researcher who will collaborate with the content developer.
Serve as a professional skills assessor to assess the fitness of VMAs to be profiled to clients.
Develop and deliver training activities and conduct medical assessments for both new hires and tenured VMAs.
Conduct engaging lab sessions to reinforce practical skills and knowledge.
Design and administer assessments to evaluate trainee proficiency.
Collaborate with the medical assessor to ensure accurate and up-to-date training materials.
Update training materials to align with Xillium VMA standards.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support trainee growth.
Monitor trainee progress and performance throughout their LRC journey.
Collaborate with teams and other departments to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions.
Administer medical lab sessions and assessments.
Support the development of other priority medical courses.
Learning Specialist Key Roles and Responsibilities
Determine new hire fit for Services by administering the required assessments.
Design content for both medical and professional development of new and existing staff, including course outlines and content to be added to the LRC Catalog.
Coordinate with Services leaders and VMAs to extract key information about service offerings, health practice specialties, and VMA processes.
Hands-on experience assessing trainee readiness and performance.
Strong background creating course materials, documentation, and structured learning content.
Ability to coordinate projects effectively in fast-paced environments.
Experience working with an LMS platform and Google Workspace.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with managers, assessors, content developers, and service leaders, while providing constructive feedback to trainees.
Business-fluent English.
Eligible to work in the Philippines.
1-3 years of experience designing and delivering training programs for healthcare or medical support teams is a plus.
