Formal Verification Engineer

In this role, you will work on cutting-edge GPU designs, applying advanced formal verification techniques to ensure the correctness and quality of complex hardware systems. Your work will directly contribute to the development of market-leading silicon products.

What you will do

• Lead formal verification of GPU components and subsystems from planning through to sign-off
• Develop and implement formal verification strategies to meet design quality goals
• Investigate and root-cause complex design issues in collaboration with design and verification teams
• Apply advanced formal verification techniques to enable exhaustive proofs and deep bug detection
• Develop and maintain verification plans, methodologies, and formal environments
• Track verification progress, metrics, and closure
• Provide verification feedback during architecture and specification reviews
  
  

• Strong knowledge of formal verification methodologies, concepts, and tools
• Experience applying formal verification to complex micro-architectures or subsystems
• Ability to develop innovative verification strategies for challenging design problems
• Experience with techniques such as abstraction, invariants, property checking, and sequential equivalence checking (SEC)
• Understanding of ASIC design flows and methodologies
