We’re hiring a Business Controller

Sulava is growing, and together with our Danish colleagues in the Context&, we’re strengthening our finance organisation. We’re now looking for a Business Controller to support Sulava’s business and work closely within the Context& Nordic finance team.

This role sits at the intersection of business, finance, and collaboration — perfect for someone who enjoys a fast pace, change, and real impact in a consulting and expert environment.

What you’ll do

• Drive business-oriented financial performance, forecasting, and follow-up
• Support leadership with insights, scenarios, and decision-making
• Develop profitability, utilization, and transparency
• Collaborate closely across Sulava, Context& and The Digital Neighborhood
• Reporting to Context& Nordic CFO

Who we’re looking for

You’re a business-driven, proactive, and adaptable controller who thrives in change and enjoys working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. You have strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with non‑finance stakeholders. You have the adaptability and problem‑solving mindset needed in a fast‑changing, expert‑driven organization.

Experience from consulting or professional services is a strong plus.

Requirements

• Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken)
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in business controlling, finance, or similar
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable business insights
• Proactive and self‑driven way of working, comfortable taking ownership in a dynamic environment
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail

While our office is located in central Helsinki, we support flexible hybrid working.
