Job Description
- Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and document system specifications, workflows, and processes.
- Perform system testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with the analytics department to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the organization's systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on system functionalities.
A Successful Systems Analyst Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
- Experience in ERP implementation (NetSuite experience is an advantage)
- Strong skills in creating process maps and flowcharts (e.g., Visio)
- Proficient in writing functional specifications and understanding technical documentation
- Experience in executing and validating test plans and test scripts
- Basic knowledge of SQL, including queries and stored procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Permanent role within a large organization in the retail industry.
