The Quality Specialist ensures that quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle, from design to production, including industrialization, the supply chain, and customer support. They take proactive measures to prevent risks, support manufacturing operations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and the quality system in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

As a Quality Specialist, You Must Be Able To
Quality in Product Design and Development
- Integrate quality requirements (reliability, testability, manufacturability) from the outset of design.
- Contribute to design reviews and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing engineering.
- Contribute to risk analyses (DFMEA/PFMEA) and follow up on mitigation actions.
- Collaborate in defining acceptance criteria and control requirements for critical characteristics.
Industrialization and Transition to Manufacturing
- Ensure continuity of quality requirements across design, industrialization, and production.
- Validate inspection and control methods associated with new products or technical changes.
- Assess quality impacts related to design, process, or supplier changes.
Analysis of Manufacturing and Customer Non‑Conformities
- Analyze internal and customer non‑conformities as well as quality trends.
- Lead or support root cause analyses (8D, CAPA).
- Ensure follow‑up and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Support for Operations
- Serve as the technical quality reference for production and inspectors.
- Support decision‑making on critical products.
- Harmonize and standardize quality practices in manufacturing.
Supplier Quality and Supply Chain
- Support supplier selection and qualification.
- Ensure suppliers understand and comply with defined quality requirements.
- Analyze supplier non‑conformities and support follow‑up of corrective action plans.
- Contribute to improving the performance of critical suppliers.
Quality Management System Development and Maintenance
- Develop and maintain quality tools.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of the quality department’s processes.
- Develop and maintain control plans and inspection methods.
- Adapt controls to product requirements (traceability, accuracy, reliability).
- Improve tools for quality data collection and analysis.
- Support audit activities (internal, external, supplier).
- Ensure consistency of quality documentation.

What Makes You An Asset To Our Team
- College diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline (industrial engineering, quality assurance, or a related technical field), or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a product design and manufacturing environment for high‑technology products.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA — DFMEA/PFMEA, 8D, RCCA, control plans).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex technical problems.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and to influence without direct managerial authority.
- Rigour, critical thinking and a prevention‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Practical knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
- General familiarity with manufacturing systems (ERP).
- Capacity to continuously learn and become familiar with the product range.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings.
- Data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel.
