Key responsibilities
Oversees all supply plan activity for the factory resources and traded goods
Build constrained supply plans for the rolling 12 months planning horizon that support business needs.
Conduct Periodic Meeting internally with Customer Care, Material Planning and review Demand Plan / Order book and proactively highlight issues if any.
Prepare RCCP overviews to drive meeting with Operations and Finance to determine mid to long term business & operation strategy
Main escalation point for supply topics
Communicating with customer care around supply issues / requests which can be Customer or Factory driven - e.g. short lead time requirements, amendments to customer orders, delivery dates, factory issues
Implement mechanism to capture exceptional orders LTO’s, cost and risk of order changes impact to capacity and recommend solutions.
Develop a robust supply plan to ensure there is an appropriate level of products available to support the sales and increase customer service level
Inputs into NPI Process.
FG inventory management including traded goods planning. Responsible for inventory days on hand and obsolete stock management
Qualifications and skills
Candidate will be qualified to degree level in a Supply Chain, Business / Commercial or related
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Planning
Food manufacturing experience is preferable
Detailed understanding of Materials assurance of supply for Production Scheduling, Inventory controls and constraints management
Advanced SAP and MS Office skills.
Excellent and impartial communicator regarding issues of the supply plan at site level whilst balancing these issues with site and /or wider business strategies and objectives.
Actively listens and shares information and knowledge with others in an effective and a timely manner.
Ensures that appropriate information is disseminated, received and understood.
Able to participate, influence and (on occasion) lead cross-functional site teams; Ability to work well with teams.
Develop relationships inside and outside the organization to enhance personal and company effectiveness.
Focused, results-oriented and able to challenge the status quo to achieve both the medium term to long term goals
