Position description: Manufacturing Finance Analyst
Primary Responsibilities
Validates and approves transactions: Ariba PR, 1SS/C3S reimbursements/liquidations, 1SS AMF, contract services billing on a daily basis or upon receipt of documents.
Prepares monitoring and accounting on COVID-related expenses.
Output/Deliverable: To ensure the correctness and completeness of documents submitted and proper GL accounts and types were used.
To properly account for the spending made during the new normal situation.
Prepares financial performance analysis and reports which include OPEX, CAPEX, Manpower and Corporate Overhead Analysis of UL Manufacturing, CQA&C, R&D and EO-TC Divisions by extracting the reports from SAP BI, SAP and SSPM on a monthly basis.
Prepares consolidation report for QA and Mfg network (CQAC and Mfg and their subisidiaries) by by gathering overall financial data (Opex, Manpower, and CAPEX) monthly.
Output/Deliverable: To monitor the performance and changes in OPEX, CAPEX and Manpower.
Prepares employee, travel and vendor-related accruals of UL Manufacturing, CQA&C, R&D and EO-TC Divisions by extracting reports from SAP and 1SS on a monthly basis.
Output/Deliverable: To recognize expenses that have been consumed but not yet recorded on the books.
Performs annual budgeting activities which include preparation, analysis, and consolidation for LE and OB for the current and succeeding year respectively.
Output/Deliverable: To plan different phases and expenses of division's operations and activities and ensure effective control over it.
Prepares financial evaluation for CAPEX requests of the divisions by providing pertinent data that are useful in determining the importance of acquisition for every material request.
Prepares BAR requested by different departments and ensures the completeness of approvals and documents provided.
Engages with Spend Group and various suppliers.
Output/Deliverable: To measure the usefulness and value of the asset to be acquired.
To assess the relevance of acquisition.
To establish the validity of request.
To ensure on time payment processing.
Validates financial terms of contract/memorandum of agreement for R&D experimental studies by reviewing the documents upon receipt of documents.
Prepares and updates costing for non-routine services rendered by CQAC, Alternate Supplier Development (CQAC), and product reformulation (R&D) upon rendering of services.
Output/Deliverable: To verify the correctness of financial terms stated in the contract/memo of agreement.
To account related cost of tests for cross-charging.
