Junior Financial Crime Analyst

In this role, you will contribute to safeguarding financial integrity by supporting KYC and KYT processes within a private banking context, while building a strong foundation in Anti-Money Laundering.

You will join a private banking environment specialised in discretionary asset management and wealth planning. The organisation operates internationally and combines a strong long-term vision with a personal and sustainable client approach. Within this context, compliance, integrity, and risk awareness play a critical role.

Tasks

• Perform first-line KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYT (Know Your Transaction) controls and ongoing monitoring

• Review and verify new client accounts and supporting documentation

• Analyse transactions and assess underlying economic rationale

• Support commercial teams in building high-quality client profiles

• Execute ad hoc reviews and follow-up on identified risks

• Maintain and update procedures in line with regulatory changes

• Provide guidance and raise awareness on KYC and KYT topics

Your Skills

• Master’s degree in Criminology, Law or Economics. It’s a plus to have a first experience in AML, KYC, or KYT.

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team

• Clear and structured communication style

• High level of integrity, discretion, and sense of responsibility

• Fluent in Dutch with a good working knowledge of French and English

• Flexible and willing to work across different office locations
