Consultant Ophthalmologist

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our healthcare team. The Consultant Ophthalmologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, performing surgical procedures, and providing excellent patient care using the latest ophthalmic technologies. This role requires a professional committed to advancing eye health and delivering exceptional clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed eye examinations and diagnostic assessments to identify visual disorders
• Develop and execute treatment plans, including medical management and surgical interventions
• Carry out ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract extraction, glaucoma surgery, and refractive procedures
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery and outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulations
• Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology through ongoing professional development
  
  

• Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology
• Valid and current medical license to practice
• At least 5 years experience in a Consultant Ophthalmologist role
• Proficiency in performing a range of ophthalmic surgical procedures
• Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to quality care
