About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing international organization active in the recycling industry, operating at the intersection of business, sustainability, and international trade. From their headquarters in the Netherlands, they act as a strategic partner to both suppliers and customers and collaborate closely with various government bodies. The organization has grown rapidly and now employs approximately 150 professionals.
To support further growth, they are looking for a junior international accountmanager who speaks fluent English for sure and next this fluency in Spanish, Italian, German, French or Dutch is a big plus! You will become part of an international sales team and travel with your colleagues throughout Europe. The company culture is informal, entrepreneurial, and characterized by a true Rotterdam hands-on mentality.
Job Description
As a junior international accountmanager you will have following responsibilities:
Selling products and services to international clients;
Further developing and managing existing accounts;
Building long-term relationships with new customers and suppliers;
Visiting clients and suppliers in Europe;
Purchasing products and negotiating commercial terms;
Identifying new sales and sourcing channels;
Working closely with internal departments such as operations, logistics, and finance;
The Successful Applicant
As a junior international accountmanager you recognize yourself the following profile:
Bachelors level of working and thinking (preferably a completed commercial degree);
Commercial work experience (ideally in a sales environment);
Willing and able to travel internationally multiple times per month;
Strong commercial instincts combined with analytical thinking;
Entrepreneurial, confident, and relationship-focused;
Fluent in English;
Fluency in another language, such as Spanish, Italian, Dutch, or another European language, is a strong plus;
