User Experience Design Designer 3

Akkodis is seeking a User Experience Design Designer 3 for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate brings proven enterprise platform design experience and deep AI/LLM fluency to advocate for design integrity, inform best‑in‑class AI experiences, and shape scalable, production‑ready solutions.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $62/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

User Experience Design Designer 3 Job Responsibilities Include

• Serve as the primary design lead and voice within the client platform, shaping end‑to‑end UX/UI across workflows, features, and visual systems.
• Partner closely with the Product Owner and engineering teams to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
• Drive continuous design evolution across usability, workflow efficiency, and platform utility for a large and growing enterprise user base.
• Advocate for design integrity and consistency by contributing to and evolving shared design systems and ensuring clean handoff to engineering.
• Apply deep knowledge of AI/LLM concepts and leading third‑party platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini) to inform best‑in‑class experience decisions.
• Design and refine complex platform interfaces, including dashboards and AI‑driven interactions, in a fast‑paced, engineering‑led environment.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 6+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for enterprise or platform‑based products.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience designing AI‑powered or data‑driven platforms, with strong familiarity in LLM concepts, workflows, and third‑party AI tools.
• Proven ability to lead design efforts within engineering‑led teams, contribute to scalable design systems, and deliver high‑fidelity, production‑ready interfaces.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $62.00 per hour
