We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vendor Account Manager to join our dynamic eCommerce team. As a Vendor Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing positive relationships with our vendors, ensuring optimal team performance, and maximizing sales opportunities. You will play a crucial role in overseeing vendor account activities, acting as a liaison between our organization and vendors, and ensuring that both parties achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the online retail environment, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset to identify potential growth opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendor accounts to foster long-term collaboration.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues relating to service quality or contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop growth strategies and new business opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, track KPIs, and optimize vendor performance.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements to align with company policies and goals.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new vendors to ensure seamless integration into our platform.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, facilitating clear and consistent communication.
  • Conduct regular meetings and reviews with vendors to assess satisfaction and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with market regulations and industry standards in all vendor interactions.
  • Assist in developing promotional campaigns and marketing strategies to boost vendor sales.
  • Identify and address potential risks or conflicts in vendor partnerships to maintain harmony.
  • Provide support and training to vendors on platform use and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in eCommerce vendor management or related role.
  • Strong understanding of the eCommerce industry and online retail dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relations.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and optimize vendor performance.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and working with legal frameworks is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle multiple vendor accounts proficiently.
