Job Description

As a Vendor Account Manager (eCommerce), you will play a crucial role in the success and growth of our vendor relationships within the eCommerce platform. You will be responsible for managing and nurturing key vendor accounts, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Your analytical skills will help drive data-informed decisions that optimize product offerings, pricing strategies, and sales tactics. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and vendors, handling negotiations, resolving operational issues, and fostering a positive working relationship. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, a strong customer-centric mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to the dynamic eCommerce environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key eCommerce vendor accounts.
  • Oversee vendor performance metrics and provide analytical feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align on strategies for vendor growth and success.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to increase profitability.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with vendors to evaluate joint business plans.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues promptly to maintain smooth business operations.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to make strategic recommendations to vendors.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion and propose new product categories.
  • Ensure compliance with eCommerce platform policies and vendor regulations.
  • Develop marketing plans in collaboration with vendors to drive product sales.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to vendors on performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technology advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor management or eCommerce roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are crucial for this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendor accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms, CRM software, and analytical tools.
  • A proactive mindset with high attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
