Job Description

The Senior Specialist - Channel Management role is integral in overseeing and enhancing the relationship between the organization and its various distribution channels. This position is responsible for managing channel partners, optimizing channel strategies, and ensuring the channels' alignment with the company's overall sales and marketing goals. The incumbent is expected to bring expertise in channel strategy, collaboration, and execution to drive performance, focusing on building strong partnerships and increasing the effectiveness of channel operations. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel management and a strategic mindset to lead initiatives that improve channel engagement and performance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement channel management strategies to optimize performance and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align channel strategies with company objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key channel partners to ensure mutual goals are met.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with channel partners and provide actionable feedback.
  • Analyze market data and competitive intelligence to identify channel opportunities and trends.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop channel-specific marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Lead initiatives to improve channel efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Monitor channel sales performance and implement strategies to address any gaps.
  • Provide training and support to channel partners to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on channel performance to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with new and existing channel partners.
  • Ensure channel partners adhere to ethical sales practices and represent the brand effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and channel operations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive business relationships with partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for channel management and sales monitoring.
