Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist at 16N25, you will play a pivotal role in managing the organization’s procurement activities to ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary goods and services. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and budget constraints.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze market trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to product or service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and demands effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and government regulations.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost analyses, and supplier performance.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to build long-term partnerships.
  • Continuously review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and management of inventory levels.
  • Evaluate and approve purchase orders while ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to keep procurement strategies innovative and effective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management roles.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
